My quest 2 arrives today and i don't want to make a whole meta/facebook account, i just wanna hook it up to my pc with my link cable and .... Whenever I try to launch the people app it tells me I need a Meta account and need to go to the setup website, when I go there it asks for a code which is .... Follow the instructions and set up the Meta account by entering your name and date of birth.

Try setting up the Meta account with no Facebook account and it'll give you the option of either one of your emails. Use your normal email and the setup ....
